What is Image Tagging?

Image tagging is a means of accurately adding text labels to an image, based upon its contents. Image tagging is excessively used to tag various scenes, single or multiple objects of interest, along with their characteristics in a high volume of image data.



How to Create Tags in NeuralMarker?


1. Click on the Tags tab available on the top header alongside other options such as Datasets, Training Sets, support, etc in NeuralMarker.



2. Click on Add button, present inside Tags Tab to add a new tag in NeuralMarker



3. The "Add Tag" dialog box will appear



After writing the class name. 


Click on add child option.

And a new child field will appear.




In an Image Dataset, if there are single or multiple instances of a single Parent class in every image of a dataset then, the user should select the RADIO button for the parent class.

In an Image Dataset, if there are single or multiple instances of multiple classes in every image of a dataset then, the user should select the CHECKBOX button for the parent class.

4. Fill in the class name, inside the parent field, click on the "add child" button to insert the child class inside the parent class.


Similarly, a child class can be inserted inside another child class using the "add child" button. 



5. After filling all the fields according to your hierarchical structure, click on submit.

6. A new tag with the Parent Class Name will be created under Tag Tab.
