Introduction


The "Relabel" feature available in NeuralMarker allows users specifically Admin account holders to send an entire Annotated dataset or some specific set of labeled images for relabeling.


When to Use the "Relabel" feature present in NeuralMarker


Scenario 1: When you as an admin want to resend an entire labeled training dataset for relabeling 

                              

Question: Why send the whole dataset for relabeling?

  • So that a new category can be labeled in all of the already labeled images of the dataset.
  • **or the entire Dataset is annotated wrongly (which is a rare case)**


Scenario 2: When you as an Admin or as QA found some images with

  • Incorrect annotation over the object of interest.
  • Missing Annotation on the object of interest.
  • The object of Interest Images lying unnecessarily in Skipped Image workflow.


And want to resend it back to the annotation workflow to get these images corrected or labeled again.


Where to look for the "Relabel" feature in NeuralMarker


Location 1:-On the dataset card: 


a. Click on the 3 dots available on the right-most border of the dataset card.




b. A drop-down with multiple options will appear




c. In one of the options you will find the "Relabel" option.




Location 2:-On the Preview Page Overlay:


a. Click on the preview button present on the dataset card.




b. Once you reach the preview page, just hover and click on any of the annotated images.




c. Preview page overlay over that image will appear.




d. On the right-most corner of the overlay you'll find the "Relabel" button.



How to use the "Relabel" feature in NeuralMarker


Scenario 1: How you as an admin can resend an entire labeled training dataset for relabeling. 


Steps To Follow:


a. Click on the 3 dots available on the right-most border of the dataset card.




b. A drop-down with multiple options will appear, in one of the options, you will find the "Relabel" option.



c. Click on the "Relabel" option



d. A pop-up message will appear, click on Yes in order to send all the images in the dataset for relabeling.



e. Then, the status of all annotated images will be changed to Non-annotated and the entire dataset will be up for relabeling "keeping the current annotations on every image intact".




Scenario 2: How you as an Admin can resend images for relabeling through the Preview page. 


Steps To Follow:


a. Click on the preview button present on the dataset card.




b. Once you reach the preview page, just hover and click on any of the annotated images or skipped images.




c. Preview page overlay over that selected image will appear.




d. Verify the correctness of the image against situations such as:

a. labeling errors

  • Missing Annotations
  • Incorrect Annotations



                                   b. Relevant images getting tagged as "Skipped Image".



e. If a user finds any labeling error while reviewing the image they just have to press the "Relabel" button present on the right-most corner of the overlay


 A toast message will appear



 

and that image will be resent back to the annotation workflow for correction.





"Relabel" feature Facts


Non-Admin Account holder cannot see relabel button on preview page overlay.



All Non-annotated and Non-skipped images will not have "Relabel" button
